Is it fair for the bride and groom to require all attendees to sit at the head table?

Some of the wedding attendants are not married … while others have spouses who are not included in the wedding … a sponsor is still married with 5 children under 7.

No, not fair … But not for the reason you think. First, because "tradition" that is being touted as the reason for making the audience sit on the table, * * It also requires that married people * always * be sitting a short distance from each other. This is so that they will make new people to talk to, and avoid the tendency of the insularity of the people familiar with the focus to yourself and the neglect of its other partners dinner. Surely if they were sitting with other guests sophisticated they were not sitting with their spouses, or, and were putting themselves to be entertaining and fun for you, no complaints and that would be cute and fun to change. Secondly, because it "tradition" requires that everyone attending the wedding to be married. This has nothing to do with sitting down to dinner, but all to do with all other rights to the dinner, which may conflict with their duties towards his family. Modern brides and their friends hate it merely by tradition provided that means they can not do what the please, so they have no credibility when they trot out as an excuse.
